“Federal Judicial Center: Emerging DNA Technologies and Impacts for the Courts”

As an AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow (2020-2021) hosted by the Federal Judicial Center, I developed educational content for federal judges about emerging trends in genomics and possible impacts for the courts.

Through these resources, federal judges can better understand new genetic and DNA technologies and gain a foundation from which to evaluate the evidence and assess their courts’ need for additional scientific expertise.
